Our residential design studio is seeking a highly organized project coordinator in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will work directly with the Principal to manage all aspects of projects and the day-to-day needs of the office. This candidate will organize the necessary pieces to ensure project success.
We are a small team where project management is required to propel all projects forward simultaneously. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, meticulous and a self-starter who can oversee the smaller moving parts and find creative solutions along the way.
Our firm predominately designs vacation homes across the US which requires an added level of organization and project management to support the principal, who travels to job sites frequently.
Responsibilities and Duties
-Work with Principal to develop, drive, and implement project goals
-Manage communications and deliverables from all vendors, clients, and contractors
-Track project accomplishments
-Handle day to day aspects within the office
-Prepares client invoices for time and product
-Operates and manages filing and organization
-Provide executive assistance to the Principal to manage schedule, travel, and other business
-Manages client and office inventory with corresponding storage facilities; including all scheduling of shipping/receiving, billing, and installation schedules
-5+ years of professional administrative coordination and project management
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
-Ability to prioritize and multi-task
-Design experience is a plus, but not mandatory
The job location is in Houston, TX. This is not a remote role. You will not be considered for this job if you do not live in Houston and do not have the skills and qualifications listed above. Some travel may be required.
